Monologue
Alright! We're back!
Hey everybody! At the end of each issue, Aptitude Test features a good old fashioned letters page, "Pencils Down". If you'd like to get involved, send your letters off to toug_2000@hotmail.com with the subject line "Pencils Down".
Any questions, comments, complaints, or home recipes are welcome. If you're a new reader, I'd love to hear from you!

Guest Strip Project

You can now check out my addition to the Guest Strip Project. GSP is a cool idea. For a year, starting last April, the site updates with a guest strip from a different artist. It's like one giant pass-the-flashlight story. And for this month, they've upped it to every day. It's not all just for kicks though, as the site is there to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. If you're looking to support a charity this holiday season, you could do worse. They sell a book, the proceeds of which go to the foundation. I'm sure donating to Make-A-Wish directly is also okay.

Title: Secret Invasion Issues: #1-8 Story: Brian Michael Bendis Art: Leinil Francis Yu/Mark Morales/Laura Martin Publisher: Marvel Comics
Back in 2004, Brian Bendis took over the Avengers, and completly destroyed them. The team was in shambles after the Scarlet Witch went mad and tried to destory them. Soon after, fate brought together a new team of Avengers. But all wasn't well. Right from the start, something was wrong. The heroes knew that something in S.H.I.E.L.D. was rotten. But before they could figure it out, they were futher torn apart buy the House of M, the Civil War, and Planet Hulk. Eventually, they found out just what had seeped into their world.
Skrulls.
The shape-shifting aliens had infiltrated Earth without anyone noticing. And it was too late to do anything about it.

Tweet! Tweetly-tweet!
So if you look to your immediate right, you can see I joined up on Twitter. If you're the kind of person who uses the program, I'll be using it to let you know when I update the comic, post blogs, features, tec.
You'll also get youtube links I feel like I need to share, and witness various insults I hurl at my friends! It's like being there with me.
So hit it up already! www.twitter.com/scarymask

Title: Sonic The Hedgehog: Otherside Issues: 193 - 194 Story: Ian Flynn Art: Tracy Yardley!/Jon Gray/Jim Amash Publisher: Archie Comics
Full disclosure: It should be known to anyone on this site that my love of Sonic the Hedgehog is longstanding and unfettered. Not in that "creepy fanfic and shipping arguments" way, but none the less. I've not been blind to it's faults however. Every console game post-Adventure for instance. But the comics in particular are why I started reading comics at all, and are why I'm here right now. They weren't always good, but I always kept reading.
Luckily, I got rewarded eventually.
